The second day

Today I arrived at 9:00 and we started with an activity for children under 4. With these children we painted and made some drawings. Also they played in the playhouse in the Bollo club. After that there was a quest in the nature on the planning, but because of bad weather this could not take place. The children that had signed in for this activity could instead play in the Bollo club. They also made some drawings and I played some games with the children. At 12:00 Bollo made his usual round. Today I was Bollo's guide. So with a huge bear holding my hand I walked through the park and asked all children whether they wanted to hug Bollo or give him a hand. After that it was already time for a break and at 13:00 the grime theatre was opened! But only two children wanted to get grimmed and I did one. It was a three-year-old boy and I turned him into a pirate. He was happy with the end result but I still doubt wether it was that beautiful.. Anyway he liked it so that's the most important thing. At 14:00 the activity 'open Bollo club' started. This is just playing, drawing, painting and that sort of stuff. Children can come in and do whatever they want and the fun & entertainment team is there to help them and to supervise. About 5 children came to the Bollo club to play and when they left they where very happy with their own artworks and they showed them to their parents very proudly. Then we tidied everything up and prepared for the Bollo show that would take place at 17:00. This show was in German today, but unfortunately there were no children to watch. This might be because most the children at the park are Dutch children. But then we decided to walk another round through the park with Bollo. So again we walked about the same round as at 12:00 but now we also handed out some 'Bollo stickers'. It's really amazing to see how Bollo can make children so happy. And the faces of the children are all worth it. Now I'm finished again and tomorrow I need to start at 13:30. That will be my last day, but not the least one since it's Bollo's birthday!
